What is a Tigon Qu'est-ce qu'un Tigon
A tigon is the result of cross breeding a male tiger with a female lion . Un tigon est le résultat d'une croix de reproduction mâle tigre avec une femme lion. This does not occur in the wild because of the territorial differences of the two cats but breeding between the two cats does occur. Tel n'est pas le cas à l'état sauvage en raison des différences territoriales des deux chats d'élevage, mais entre les deux chats ne se produisent. When mixed in captivity breeding will naturally happen and the resulting offspring will be a tigon. There is no scientific name assigned to this animal although both parents are members of genus Panthera . S'il est mélangé d'élevage en captivité naturellement se produire et la descendance sera a tigon. Il n'ya pas de nom scientifique attribué à cet animal bien que les deux parents sont membres de genre Panthera. It’s not a natural creature, according to science, but I believe it should be assigned a name. Ce n'est pas une créature naturelle, selon la science, mais je pense qu'il devrait être attribué un nom.
During the 1800’s there were more tigons than ligers (the mix of a male lion and a female tiger) Â but that trend has turned around and tigons are not as plentiful today. Pendant les années 1800 il y avait plus de tigons que ligers (la combinaison d'un lion mâle et une femelle tigre) Â mais cette tendance a fait demi-tour et tigons ne sont pas aussi nombreux aujourd'hui. There is currently breeding going on in China as you can see from the recent post about the four cubs born there in May of 2006. Tigons and Ligers are fabulous! Tigons et Ligers sont fabuleux! They immediately became my favorite animal as soon as I saw and heard of them. Ils ont immédiatement devenu mon animal préféré dès que j'ai vu et entendu d'entre eux. And yay. Et yay. Animals(tigers and Lions) are finally breaking the line. Tigers and Tigons have always been my avorite animals when they became one. Tigres et Tigons ont toujours été mon avorite animaux quand ils sont devenus un. Tigers on the other hand have always been a favorite of mine so when i found out that they breed tigers and lions and the cubs became ligers and tigons i was amazed. Tigres, en revanche, ont toujours été un de mes favoris quand j'ai découvert qu'ils race des tigres et des lions et des oursons est devenu ligers et tigons i was amazed.

I think Hybrinding animals is wrong….if they didn’t do it on their own they obviously didn’t want to and humans breeding them is horrible. Je pense que Hybrinding animaux qui ne va pas…. S'ils ne l'ai pas fait sur leurs propres ils n'ont évidemment pas envie de l'homme et leur reproduction est horrible. They are two different breeds it’s like making a wolf and a fox breed. Ce sont deux races différentes, c'est comme faire un loup et un renard race. If they didn’t do it in nature why should we make them. Si elles ne l'ai pas fait dans la nature pourquoi devrions-nous faire. What if you had to breed with someone you didn’t want to but these people you didn’t know forced you too….it’s inhumain and just wrong. Que faire si vous aviez à élever avec quelqu'un que vous n'avez pas envie de ces personnes mais vous ne saviez pas trop forcé vous…. Il est inhumain et juste mauvais.
The diffs between tigons and ligers are surprising. La différenciation entre tigons et ligers sont surprenants. Tigons are overall well proportioned, though sometimes smaller than the parents. Tigons sont globalement bien proportionnée, mais parfois plus petits que les parents. Ligers have the biggest zygomatic arches I’ve seen on any animal - they have a distinct distortion there to to giantism. Ligers ont le plus grand zygomatic arches que j'ai vu sur un animal - qui ont une distorsion là pour de gigantisme.
