		<description>ligers are rare and could survive.  but they may have issues reproducing.  for example a mule (cross between a donkey and a horse) are sterile.  So, although they may survive one generation, continuous survival over multiple generations isn&#039;t likely.</description>

		<description>Honestly I don&#039;t think they would do very well.  Considering they are a &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.liger.org/index.php?s=hybrid&quot;&gt;hybrid&lt;/a&gt; of a tiger and a lion, which live in different environments, their inherited behaviors might not include those needed for whatever environment they are released into.  Also, it sort of depends how it was raised.  And also they are sterile so they wouldn&#039;t continue as a species.  So we should save the tigers and lions separately before we start thinking about their hybrids.</description>
