Unlike siberian tiger, malayan tiger are smaller, about the same size as a leopard.

If they were both the same size then I would probably say that the leopard would win. A leopard is the most aggressive big cat in the animal kingdom. Being attacked by a leopard is like having a chainsaw thrown at you.
I don’t know why they would ever want to fight each other but, if they were the same size then I would think the leopard would have the advantage. I hope I never have to find out.
A tiger cause they are more of the chase hunting kind and leopards are more of a sit on the tree and wait for an easy prey kind.
Leopards are amazingly strong and they are very intelligent. They can drag a deer carcass up a tree. I would not bet against the leopard if it is the same size as the tiger.
