Who should the Lions or Bengals select with their first overall pick in 2009?
Now that the Lions and Bengals are the only two winless teams and have no chance of making the playoffs, it’s a race to the finish for the first overall pick next year. Should the Lions draft a quarterback? If so, who would it be? Since the Bengals already have Palmer, who should they pick?

Crabtree. that guy is too beastly.
The Lions signed Daunte Culpeper with a 2 year contract. I knew he retired way too early.
They should draft offensive linemen/running back, but qb would be nice.
Well yes, Tebow probably first to the Lions?
Lions draft a running back most likely…and that idk.
The Bengals should go offensive line such as Michael Oher or Andre Smith. Some experts have them going DE, but even their offense has gone bad this year and they need line help so Palmer/Fitzpatrick/Esiason don’t get crushed after 2 steps dropping back.
The Lions, despite the Culpepper signing, have a glaring need at quarterback. They should go with the top quarterback who many experts say will be Matthew Stafford. However, my own thought is thought if Sam Bradford comes out early, he would be an excellent choice.
i think that the Bengals could draft Crabtree and then they could also get rid of Chad johnson and get something good from him. They could also use a RB since they have cedric benson. I would take Knowshown Moreno, he is a stud RB. He has great play making skills. The lions could also use Moreno. I think that the QB Stafford will be a top 5 pick. The Lions might want him as well
Percey Harvin/Micheal Crabtree. Of course, IF ONLY they goto the draft. The most ideal QB this year is Mathew Stafford. He’s still young, but he’s got that rocket arm, his pass are like lasers. Graham Harrell would be good.
not even 30000 # 1 picks can change these two teams. they will STILL lose someHOW!!
I love that everyone says an Offensive player,
Defense wins Baby
you alfie
The Lions will pick for the first round Colt McCoy. The two are perfect for each other, both losers. Will Detroit still have a pro team next year the way they are going?
