Ligers and Tigons are sterile from birth, so there would be no offspring. However, if one were to unlock the secrets behind genetic recombination, you could sample DNA from both animals and possbly splice a new, third hybrid … perhaps a Tigron. Sadly, natural pathways for an enhanced hybrid from these two creatures is impossible.

You would get either a tiger or a lion!

    The sky would fall down!
The whole world will come to a stop!
Man would go back to his cave-man roots!
Others are welcome to add to this laundry-list!

A ligon would be the only possible word combo, considering that the other way would just bring you back to being a tiger.

It wouldn’t happen. Whether they mated or not, there would be no offspring (babies); because both ligers, and tigons, (though they’re basically the same thing) are hybrids, meaning that an extremely high percentile of them would be sterile, and not capable of having babies.

They would have sex, but no offspring would be produced. Both are usually sterile. Meaning no babies.

    You’d get a human being.

nothing because most of them have problems mating because of birth defects. Also its like mules they cant breed because there genes are not compatible with other animals because there DNA is so different from them. its probably not even possible for them to mate with an animal from the same species.

They would have fun while having sex, nothing else. They are sterile.

Fist off there is no such thing as a “tigon”. Whenever a lion and tiger mate the offspring will be a liger (which is a real animal, though nothing like the idiotic thing in napolean dynamite- the worst and dumbest movie I have ever seen). Whichever animal is the mother wouldn’t make a difference, because half the genes are from the mother and half are from the father. The offspring may look more like a tiger, but genetically it is a liger. Secondly Whenever two species cross-breed the offspring will almost always be infertile, so if a liger mated with any thing nothing would happen (other than uncomfortable conversation afterward, and the phone calls…).
