   It is the mix breed of a lion and a tiger where the Male of the offspring is a Lion and the Female is a Tiger. When the male is a Tiger and Femal is a Lion its called a Tion.

   sometimes, species that are similar are bred together. The babies are sterile, but look funny. The most famous is a mule (horse + donkey).
   Tiger + Lion = Liger.

   it comes from the movie “Napoleon Dynamite”. it is a hybrid of a lion & tiger that the main character Napoleon likes to draw. he created this creature in his head…it is made up.
