Science has already proven that interbreeding is doable. The fact that ligers and ligons are sterile means interbreeding should not go any further because it is a useless and cruel practice. Experimenting with no actual objective in sight is cruel. If the sole objective is to be able to show the hybrids as a circus animal, then that is not ethical. Creating freaks of nature is absolutely unethical. The Humane Society should ban and discourage this practice and encourage our lawmakers to pass a law prohibiting this useless practice. If these were humans, they would have been banned ages ago. How would you like to see a public display of an autistic child or a child with a cleft lip eating? Enough of this already!
