What do you think of having hybrid animals?

Is it cheating to create a new life? Is it safe for their unknown habits and the possibility release them to wild?

I am talking about playing with God’s creature. Some people said that scientist can go too far? I am just simply asking people’s thoughts. That is all.

some of these animal mated themselves WE(humans) didn’t have anything to do with some of them. It is not cheating it is simply experimenting. and considering both the hybrid and its parents are still alive it is perfectly safe. Some are in the wild too. Like Ligers and more.

it is kind of dangerous for humans to consistently hybridize animals. these hybridized animals are kool though, but its like playing with fire. nature will somehow find a way for things to reproduce. even if male ligers cannot reproduce, some other hybrids can. if lets say the “savannah cat” somehow escapes captivity, it can be disastrous to the environment. domestic cats are one of the few (if not the only) cats that hunt not just for food but for fun. combine this hunting-for-fun with excellent hunting skills of a serval. also, some people keep these wild-domestic mixed cats as pets. most of them are not tender-loving cats. most of them turn out to be just like feral cats and are extremely dangerous. if found by the SPCA, they will have to be euthanized

Are you mental? None of this was done by scientists; if two animals have sex, and can hybridize, there will be offspring. This has been going on for millions of years, if the genes of two species are close enough, they will produce offspring, though they may not always be able to reproduce. Have you ever heard of the Mule? It is a hybrid that has been around for who knows how long, and is a cross between a donkey and a horse, but is sterile like nearly all hybrids.
