Chances are, that lady, the breeder and everyone involved with the cubs were attached to the zoo in some way. What would you call these people? Baby raisers? Foster moms? The absolute luckiest people on earth? LOL! Just know these people are rare and blessed, and becoming just as endangered as the <a href="http://www.liger.org/liger-cubs-born-in-taiwan/">babies</a> they raise. Due to insurance issues, zoos aren't allowing people to care for animals in their homes anymore. They have to stay on zoo property, under the supervision of trained professionals. Bummer, right? Zoos are very selective in the animals they own, and even more careful of the animals they allow to breed. Chances are, that lady, the breeder and everyone involved with the cubs were attached to the zoo in some way.
