It gives them better adaptations to there enviroment than the parent species. So they can survive easier than the “parents”.
In the case of animals there usually aren’t any advantages. Most hybrids can’t breed and, when food shortages occur, their often poorly expressed versions of specialisations inherited from the parent species, can leave them badly equipped.
With some plants, hybridization can have advantages, but this is from the perspective of humans rather than being advantages over parent species. Hybridizing cultivated roses with the stems of wild rose strains can increase the stem strength and its resistance qualities. A further example is provided by the vegetable known as a swede. This is a fertile hybrid that happened to arise in Bohemia by kinky sex between a cabbage and a turnip; both closely related species. The swede hybrid was a new viable species, and people found it useful as an additional food source.

In general, the result is the opposite. Most are more poorly adapted.

A major difficulty is presented by the flawed assumption your question contains. If hybrids generally had advantages, then the natural world would be flooded with them, and the history of life on Earth would’ve been very different.
