is it possible to mate a cheetah to a tiger?


i know you can cross lions and tigers which is a liger, but what about a cheetah and a tiger? arn’t they similar enough?

    Size, habitat, and temperament differences would likely keep them from ever mating. I could imagine the tiger trying to kill the cheetah, which it would likely perceive as a prey animal.

    That aside, maybe. They have the same number of chromosomes, 38.

    A cheetah isn’t even really considered a true feline. It’s hard to tell.
