    I missed it. Call me a skeptic. I don’t believe a word.

Don’t know — how big was a Smilodon?

“By way of size comparison, male Siberian tigers (the largest non-extinct naturally occurring member of the cat family, Felidea) average between 400 and 600 pounds. We estimate Hobbs to weigh about twice that.”

    There are TIGONS, too.

Actually, Smilodons were not all that big. They had huge fangs, and were hugely muscled, but their length was not all that great … they were “pounce” hunters and were not built for long-distance running like tigers and lions are.
The “liger” was an interesting critter, all right. I wonder if it is fertile or if it is a mule?

Ligers are bred for their skills in magic
