How Successful Was The Cross Between A Tiger & A Lion- A Tigon?


The animals (cross between male tiger and female lion)are sterile but healthy, they are smaller than either of their parents. The Liger, which is a cross between a male lion and female tiger, does not do so well, since they lack the growth inhibiting genes and continue to grow until their bodies fail from the stress.
