The life expectancy for wild tigers is generally thought to be about 10-20 years (with females living slightly longer than males on average). If you mean how long can the species survive without becoming extinct in the wild, then it’s very difficult to know. There are plenty of reserves with tigers in them, but there is little funding available to prevent poachers from killing them – and as the human population increases in the parts of Asia that have tigers, there are increasingly more tigers likely to be killed ‘to protect people and livestock’.
