   Under 1 thousand. Their numbers are on the decline. We were in Kenya & Tanzania for 4 weeks and only saw about 6 cheetahs.

   Quite many but due to the social distribution and habitact they are likely not to be seen. Kenya boast to be the second strong hold for the cheeter after Namibia. While in kenya try to visit the Mara, Meru and nairobi National Parks where i can assure you of spotting one of them
