How Does A Zoo Care For An African Leopard In Terms Of Costs, Food, Exercise, Healthcare, & Special Needs?
What are the pros and cons for the African Leopard for living in captivity vs. the wild? What special care does the African Leopard need to survive and thrive specially physically and mentally? How does the zoo create a home for the African Leopard to make it similar to its natural habitat? Thank you very much for all of your answers in helping me in my project research on African Leopard.

I would hope that like for any other animal that the zoo would research and provide the best “natural”, environment that they could afford. Hopefully it is at least a decent setting that they can make for what ever animal it might be. Good luck on your project.
They get a better diet than in the wild. Leopards can live up to 20 years in captivity. The wild 10-12 if they are lucky. With poaching and loss of habitat.
