they reach into the tents and pull them out with their teeth – but don’t worry, man was given dominion over the animals (read the holy book ) – if you ever meet a lion at night. stare hiim down and think about man having dominion over hte animals and he will leave you alone.

for your information they keep lions in a reservation like a zoo, so they don’t attack, duh. but the stupid news people will not tell you that instead they make up stories like Tarzan and go to the most bushy part of a country in Africa and show y’all that and make ya’ll believe it is the whole part of Africa, and of course for some strange reason, Americans like you believe it.

Lions have the ability to see in very low light environments. Lions also have excellent senses of smell and feel, which allow them to navigate stealthly through high brush areas. Once they select a target, they can stalk their prey silently. Lions prefer head and throat strikes to quickly incapacitate their victim and then drag the carcass away. This is most likely how lions stalk unwary humans in a village.

tapedum lucedum-this is a part of the eye that allows cats and other animals to see in dark conditions. This allows them to relect ANY light in the area to help them see better.

Lions hunt using all their senses. At night usually sound & smell.
Do not use the word d*****s. It only shows what a bigot you are.

They are lions. There are an entire world that Human perception cannot see or even understand. Each day, scientists discover something interesting about animals and understand that the unique stupids are our sellfish society.
Lions can see in a low luminosity environment. They have other senses to improve their hunting, like smelling their prey. Usually Human eaters are lazy lions, because there are no easier pray that them….. perhaps its why Human being act as a coward.
Lions can see and differentiate meal from naked tree. They can smell that or even try it like we do with fake cakes.
Never stop in front of a hungry lion and start to thinks silly things or you will be a meal with good thoughts. If you have the bible, try to trow it to him, perhaps the lion will read something amotionally interesting and can fell in tears and you can run away.
I wish lucky in your Irony and the Godess of fertility will give to you a lot o these little humans to bring hapiness to your lionless life.

Lions see at least a few times better than us humans. Imagine you walking on a dark night with a torch in your hand – you do see something right. That’s close to what a lion sees in the night as if they have an internal torch. It’s just that their eyes are very sensitive to even the slightest amount of available light.
Unlike some of the above comments, lions do not have an extra-ordinary sense of smell like the members of the dog family do. Lions hunt based on sight and sound.
Cats are very opportunistic and these lions probably realized it’s much easier to hunt humans than the amazingly quick native wild life and hence the attacks.

The lions use their sense of smell and touch. Some lions also use a sixth sense known as heat radiation detector. While prowling through the night they are able to sense the heat of other organisms they then know where to pounce and easily devour ther prey. Also they use their smell to sniff out their prey and follow their tracks.
