How come lions, tigers and tigons are aggressive, but ligers are placid?


I heard that the offspring of a male lion and female tiger is placid, unlike its parents and reverse hybrid. Why is this?

    Genetic anomaly. Tigers and lions don’t normally breed, resulting in a slight mutation in behavior

    Elaine. Tigons and ligers will never be wild.

    You heard wrong. First of, people who ‘breed’ those cats deserve to be SHOT.

    Second, cats are unpredictable, they are predators, hunters, killers, they are independent, intelligent, and do whatever the hell they like… unless they are chained down in a tiny cage by some idiot, vile human who bred them for profit.

    All those cats are aggressive, they all can be. All might be, then, some may not be. Mutts are unpredictable, as are hybrids.
