    Yes, they do.
    Though it does not happen often in nature because there are not many places Lion and Tiger terrortories overlap. As a result it’s more common in confined animals.
    There is a Myth that Ligers are Sterile,.. they are Sterilized/Neutered/Spayed by their owners to prevent them from breeding– they are born capable of reproduceing.
    Another name for Tiger-Lion hybrids is Lily which is more often used for those born with a Growth problem where they are basically Dwarves.
    Enough Ligers have had a Growth problem for me to bring it up,.. they cannot stop growing or grow too much too quickly. As a result work is done on them to stop this,.. usually with the Spaying/Neutering as that can attribute to growth and developement as well as behavior.
    Ligers do get to be larger then Elephants. Their food intake demands are so emence it is thought they die in the wild from not being able to meet these demands.
