If there are wild tigers in these areas how did they get there b/c they are not indigenous to the ecosystem.

The tiger population is strictly confined within the boundaries of East Asia, including the eastern parts of Siberia, North Korea, China, India, Bangladesh, etc. They do not live anywhere else in the wild, however, you can still see them in zoos, or in captive centers throughout the world. The jaguar is one large cat that inhabits the area you mentioned and is closely related to the tiger, but about half the size. The cougar, a.k.a. mountain lion, or puma, panther, etc. is another cat that inhabits the Americas.

The tiger is Asian, but the jaguar was referred to as a tiger by the Spanish when they arrived in the 15th century. This name is still used by some people, among many other names.
