    Edit. Wikipedia may have problems, but for answering the question, “Are ligers real?” there is absolutely nothing wrong with using it as a starting point. It has many references listed at the bottom which can be checked.

    They are real. There are none thought to be in the wild but you never know. It is a cross between a lion and tiger.
