Are All Siberian Tigers In Russia In A Zoo Or Are Some Wild?
Filed in Category Tigers
Please I would like to know. I know some are wild but can you please tell me if most are wild or in a zoo. This is an easy way for ten points the fastest and most accurate will get the 10 points. Thanks

Yes, there is a wild population of siberian tigers. After a count in 2005, It was estimated that there are around 400 to 500 tigers living in the wild. Though this is a low number, fortunately it is remaining steady, and is even higher than in previous years.
There are about 500 living in captivity, but I’m not sure if that includes sanctuaries and zoos, or just zoos.
So that means that there are about the same number of tigers living in captivity as there are in the wild. Hopefully the wild population will increase, because theses tigers are critically endangered.
